Programs of support for innovation

 

The Foundation of Support for Research of the State of Bahia (Fapesb) has a series of activities geared towards providing incentives for innovative culture. The Company Research Support Program – Bahia Innovation – brings together the main lines of research that increase competitiveness. Learn more about the details of these programs:

 

PAPPE Economic Subsidy (PAPPE Integration)

Geared towards supporting micro- and small businesses, this program was developed to subsidize innovation. The proposals must have compensation that may or may not be financed. The objective is to increase the competitiveness of Bahian companies, with a focus on sustainable development in the introduction of innovative products, processes, and services.

 

Company Researcher (RHAE)

 

With this program, micro, small, and medium-sized companies that work with technological research or innovation can get grants for the inclusion of researchers with master’s and doctorate degrees. The support comes from the contribution towards building more qualified project teams.

 

Support for Open Innovation

 

Technological innovation projects from Bahian companies – whether in processes, products, or services – can receive financing through this program. To apply, the company must be a micro, small, or medium-sized company in partnership with another Brazilian company of any size. The focus is on stimulating open innovation with the development of collaborative projects between companies based in Bahia and others that operate on regional, national, or even international scales.

 

Support for the Cooperation between Companies and ICTs

 

Micro, small, medium, and large companies that operate in Bahia and that form partnerships with the Institutes of Science and Technology (ICTs) are the target of this program. The projects may be geared towards technological innovation in processes, products, and services in strategic areas. Resources may be obtained for economic subsidy or for research grants, requiring proof of financial compensation.
