All the units in the Technological Park of Bahia complement each other. The School for Scientific Education has a partnership with the State Secretariat of Education, and will use its transversal and interdisciplinary qualities to initiate children and teenagers into the universe of research. The first contacts made in the Environmental Park and in the Science World pique curiosity, which will be developed through learning in this school, whose content will be geared towards 6^th to 9^th grade students.

 

The focus is on science, but the activities bring together art, science, technology, environmental studies, and culture through an intriguing, playful, and dynamic teaching method. The classes will be given in multifunctional workshops and laboratories with scientific and technological resources to be utilized in the performance of experiments and activities that can show the practical aspect of the content taught. The space has the capacity for up to 260 students per shift.

 

The architectural design of the School for Scientific Education may seem simpler, but this is due to the challenge of respecting the topography of the terrain without visually impacting the Environmental Park. The position of the more vertical building takes ventilation into account, as well as the position of the Sun.
