The Technological Park of Bahia has the unique privilege of being located in an area that totals over one million square meters, in a central region with native Atlantic Forest vegetation.

 

In order to best take advantage of this potential, the ecological environments become an emblematic mark of responsibility and education – concepts that should be linked to scientific and technological development. The Environmental Education Center is a tool to encourage these activities in a permanent way.

 

The environment is conducive to enjoyable educational walks, with the objective of piquing interest about science. There will be minimum interference in the original terrain, with the trails and units accompanying the variations of the land (including some steep sections). The material utilized in construction will be ecologically friendly. The children’s park will have the theme of “Animals of the Atlantic Forest.” The plant will be divided into sectors: Energy, Sound, and Tree Climbing.

 

Activities include classes, guided tours, lectures, and expositions, as well as free enjoyment. It is a sheltering space, as part of the Technological Park’s social integration with the local community.
